Shia LaBeouf’s He Will Not Divide Us art project was intended to be a simple camera that would record people repeating its message as a low-stakes, non-aggressive protest against Donald Trump, but neo-Nazis and other milk-guzzling white supremacists almost immediately declared war against the project. They drove it out of its original home in New York, they stole a secret flag promoting it, and then they drove it out of the United States entirely. Now, they’re even taking on the project’s website.

According to USA Today, the He Will Not Divide Us website was apparently taken over by hackers this morning, and they replaced it with white text on a black background that said: “14/88 #JEWSWILLNOTDIVIDE.US coming in 2018 by Shia Labeouf.” For those who don’t follow racist bullshit, the “14” is apparently a reference to some stupid racist mantra that has 14 words and isn’t worth quoting here, and the “88” stands for “Heil Hitler” because “H” is the eighth letter in the alphabet. (Nobody said Nazis were particularly creative.)

The website has since been restored, but it still doesn’t appear to be streaming anything.
