Providing further evidence that an all-female Ghostbusters is a real thing that’s actually happening, Rebel Wilson revealed on yesterday’s Today show that she has had a meeting about starring in Paul Feig’s reboot. It’s not much of a surprise, since Wilson’s breakout role was as nutty roommate Brynne in Feig’s Bridesmaids. But it does show some forward momentum towards building Ghostbusters 3’s inevitably stacked female cast.

Wilson was careful to say it was just a meeting, and “who knows?” Still, she was enthusiastic at the chance to play with an iconic comedic role, saying, “I’d do [Ghostbusters 3] for free…I probably shouldn’t say that live on TV.” She did, though, and the door is once again open for rampant cast speculation.
