After teasing it the night before, Atlanta’s own king of trap Future released his first mixtape of 2016 on Sunday. Titled Purple Reign, the new tape was executive produced by Future’s two closest musical associates, Metro Boomin and DJ Esco, and features a couple of guest drops from his What A Time To Be Alive collaborator Drake. The new record was dropped onto and is available to download completely for free.

To call Future’s 2015 prolific would be a vast understatement. The man born Nayvadius Wilburn dropped three different mixtapes last year—Beast Mode, 56 Nights, and the aforementioned What A Time To Be Alive—in addition to his third studio album, the well-received Dirty Sprite 2. With this newest release, it seems as if he’s eager to get a hot jump on 2016 as well. Still no word on what Prince thinks about all of this, however.
