Apparently unwilling to be left out of today’s massive free-for-all of TV renewals and pick-ups, Fox has hopped into the fray at the tail end, revealing that it’s renewed Gotham and Last Man On Earth for their respective fourth seasons. Variety reports that both now-veteran shows—one a tortured superhero prequel series that finally seems to be embracing its own inner ridiculousness, and the other a surprisingly poignant comedy about isolation and survival—will come back later this year. Gotham is just a few episodes out from its season finale, a (very) loose adaptation of the Court Of Owls story from the Batman comics, while Last Man On Earth wrapped up its third season last week, complete with an appearance from a gun-toting Kristen Wiig.
