As reported by Stereogum, the late Austrian new-waver Falco–he of European stardom and "Rock Me Amadeus" fame in the U.S.– is the subject of an upcoming biopic. Titled Falco: Verdammt, Wir Leben Noch! (Damn It, We're Still Alive!), the film is due in July in Europe, and if the trailer is to be trusted will co-star Grace Jones. Falco, of course, is also the man behind other '80s classics like "Der Kommissar" (a 1983 hit for England's After The Fire) and "Vienna Calling." He was also arguably the first of many viable Teutonic rappers.
