It’s a big day for True Detective casting news. Having previously locked down Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn as its stars, rumor has it that Taylor Kitsch and Rachel McAdams are also being eyed for leading roles. So while showrunner Nic Pizzolatto at one point suggested the next season of his hit show might follow a pair of women, what he meant was one woman and three men—thus protecting True Detective from ever having to worry about writing dialogue that passes the Bechdel Test.

Thankfully Funny Or Die is offering a glimpse of what True Detective season two could have been like had it happened to star two women who happen to be awfully short. In the trailer for Tiny Detectives, 5’2” Kate Mara and 5’1” Ellen Page struggle not only with solving gruesome murder mysteries but also with things like reaching high shelves, seeing over a crowd, and driving a car. Mara and Page beautifully underplay the comedy, which grows more and more absurd over the course of the video.
