Despite the million-dollar salaries and endorsements that make the NBA a business, basketball is a game, played primarily by young athletes who, hopefully, are out there having a good time. And though expectations and competition can sometimes obscure that reality, it should surprise no one that NBA players are a lighthearted bunch—as seen in this collection of players videobombing the hell out of each other. No one is safe from the videobomb, from on-court stars like LeBron James or Dwayne Wade to head coaches.
The clip puts the NBA far ahead of the NFL for “most fun post-game interviews,” unless you consider Marshawn Lynch’s “I’m just here so I don’t get fined” responses fun. But the NBA needs more shaving cream pies to the face if it wants to match the entertainment value of professional baseball’s on-field chats.
