It’s been 30 years since Mikey and the gang saved the Goondocks thanks to stolen pirate treasure in Richard Donner’s The Goonies. Since then there has been endless speculation about a sequel or a possible musical adaptation of that film. But now comes the perfect way to honor the ’80s classic: by setting a remix of quotable moments from the film to the backing track for Nicki Minaj’s “Truffle Butter.”
Mike Relm made the “Truffle Butter Shuffle,” which features all of fans’ favorite characters from the film, including Sloth, Chunk, and Mouth, getting their groove on to that slick loop. It’s a minute and a half clip (the rest of the video is Relm peddling his new signature glasses line) that expertly uses the sounds of The Goonies with the beat of Minaj’s song. Relm’s remix is easily one of the best jams that features simulated vomiting noises to ever make the internet rounds. Top five, anyways.
