For the past decade, Philadelphia-bred The Roots have thrown an annual concert in their hometown, but hitting double digits has prompted them to assemble arguably their best lineup yet. For the 2017 Roots Picnic (held on Festival Pier at Penn’s Landing) the hip-hop mainstays and late-night house band have put together an eclectic assortment of acts, all joined by the common thread of being performers that Questlove and company think are awesome.

The headlining attraction will be a joint set between Pharrell and The Roots, with other top artists scheduled to perform. Those include Lil Wayne, Solange (fresh off being pissed about the Grammys), 21 Savage, Kimbra, and more. It all takes place Saturday, June 3, where you can spend the day enjoying a much more lovingly curated festival lineup than usual, or just drink whiskey and jealously watch the social media posts of your friends who live there. The full list of performers is below.
