TMZ has news of Brittany Murphy's death at the age of 32. As wrong as that site can be, they rarely jump the gun on something this major. Details are, to say the least, sketchy, but apparently Murphy died of a cardiac arrest. According to the initial report, paramedics responded to a call at her home 8 a.m. Sunday morning and took Murphy to Cedars-Sinai Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Although she debuted on television (with appearances on shows like Blossom and Frasier), Murphy broke through in 1995's Clueless, where she played a transfer student who becomes friends with lead Alicia Silverstone. She also had a long-running stint on King Of The Hill as the voice of Luanne Platter. Her IMDB page shows four films in the works for 2010 in various stages of production, including The Expendables, directed by Sylvester Stallone.
