From Billboard: While fans wait around, oh, three years or so for the next Beastie Boys album to come out, the trio is working on a new version of their recent instrumental disc The Mix-Up. The difference? This one won't be instrumental. Instead, the Beasties are employing a bunch of guest vocalists to sing over the existing tracks, including M.I.A., Jarvis Cocker, and Lilly Allenā€“or as Adam Yauch laughingly describes them, "a bunch of British people." Cryptically, Yauch also mentions the possible inclusion of presidential hopeful Barack Obama as a guest vocalist on one song, saying, "Really, the guy drops more science than The Dalai Lama."

Useless factoid learned while "researching" this Newswire post: I totally made that up about Obama.
