Black Mirror, one of the few shows that could comfortably ask, “what if your neighbor was a Minecraft server?,” is back with a seemingly truncated fifth season and a fresh crop of stars. Though the Netflix thriller only boasts of three new stories this year, that isn’t stopping it from giving fans the full, all-too-possible creepy experience they’ve come to expect. Guest appearances from the likes of Anthony Mackie, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Nicole Baharie, Topher Grace, and Pom Klementieff should definitely pull the attention of even the most hesitant viewer. Even Miley Cyrus is here as a mightily popular, wig-wearing entertainer, which doesn’t remind us of any of her previous work at all.

Keeping with the Black Mirror brand, the new trailer questions the ever-growing prevalence of technology and artificial intelligence as it imagines inventive ways that our cell phones could be ruining our lives. The new season begins streaming June 5, only six months after the series’ choose-your-own-demise hit film Bandersnatch.
