According to Pitchfork, Andrew W.K. has announced his first set of shows with a full band in five years. Last summer, he went on a speaking tour to promote the general concept of partying, hitting all 50 U.S. states along the way, but this tour will be a bit more straightforward. This one, called the Party Never Dies Tour, will involves Andrew W.K. making a bunch of stops in the U.S. before playing a handful of shows in the United Kingdom (and one in Mexico for good measure). Pitchfork also points out that Andrew W.K. hasn’t released a new studio album since 2009, but that doesn’t make his support for basic party awareness any less meaningful.
