Each year the American Film Institute puts together an almanac of the best films and television shows—sort of a yearbook of entertainment, as it were, except one that completely omits all those idiots you never want to see again. According to Vulture, the 2010 yearbook committee included people like Diablo Cody, Precious director Lee Daniels, Steven Bochco, Leonard Maltin, and Jennifer Love Hewitt, and if it was anything like the yearbook committee at our high school, Leonard Maltin and Steven Bochco did all the work, Diablo Cody and Jennifer Love Hewitt did jack shit and kept running off to take photos of themselves, and Lee Daniels kept trying to slip some weird, depressing-ass poem in there and everyone was like, “Um, no.” Anyway, here are the 2010 honorees in alphabetical order (because in the AFI list, just being nominated is the same as winning).
