Still no word on a return date for Mad Men, and Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead won’t be back until July and October, respectively, but AMC has announced an April 3 premiere date for The Killing, the network’s newest series that could potentially dominate TV critic slavering. As reported earlier, the show is an adaptation of the Danish series Forbrydelsen, and explores the aftermath of a young girl’s murder from the perspectives of her family, the detectives working the case, and the suspects. Before the two-hour pilot airs, AMC will run Seven as a fluffer to get you all worked up and in the mood for some gritty homicide action. Here's a brief promo—one that promises the show will debut in March, but just ignore that.
