Dan Harmon may have recently solved the mystery of why the hell Rick And Morty season three is taking so long—it’s less about fighting, more about thinking—but there’s still no update on just when we can expect the return of the animated series or that coveted Szechuan sauce. To be fair to Harmon, Justin Roiland, and Adult Swim, that April Fool’s Day episode was a nice surprise; and if you missed it when it aired repeatedly on the first night, the cable network did air it for a whole week after. Now it looks like there’s even more Rick And Morty in sight, as Adult Swim has just announced there will be a livestream on Thursday. That’s the long and short of it—we don’t know what Harmon and Roiland have planned for this “live, spontaneous evening” of Rick And Morty, but you’ll definitely want to have your eyes on AdultSwim.com on June 29 at 9 p.m. ET. The press release says so.
