Tomorrow Pusha-T’s long-awaited new record comes out, his first since 2015. The 7-track DAYTONA is executive produced by Kanye West, serving as the first in the producer’s volley of five new records, and, while it should be Pusha’s show, Kanye’s still stealing some of the headlines. A few leaked clips from his album listening party last night showcase, well, 1) a Drake diss from Pusha and a bunch of lean, minimal beats, but also 2) an attention-grabbing, MAGA-quoting Kanye verse. Now the album cover has been revealed, and it is a doozy.

That’s an image of Whitney Houston’s bathroom, reportedly taken in 2006 and released after her death in 2012. In his typically impulsive, last-minute manner, Kanye decided on the cover early yesterday morning. After settling on a series of photographs to use on the cover, making edits, and so on, Pusha told Power 105's Angie Martinez that he got a phone call at 1 a.m., per DJ Booth:

There’s no caller ID. ‘Hey, yeah, I think we should change the artwork. And I like this other artwork. And this other artwork is 85 grand.’ I said, ‘Hey, I don’t want to pay for that and I wasn’t even going to ask you to pay for that.’ We picked what we picked, it’s here, it’s ready. ‘No, this is what people need to see to go along with this music,’ [Kanye responded]. ‘I’ma pay for dat.’ I say, ‘You my man! [laughs] You my man!’

You can hear a couple clips from the recor below, or, you know, just wait a few hours for the whole thing.
